Measuring for the Gorge - Leather Cattleman Cowboy Hat begins by wrapping a soft measuring tape (also known as a tailor's tape or sewing tape) around your head. Continuing place the tape at your mid-forehead, and wrap it around your head above the ears measuring your head size. In summary, find your size on this chart.

Please do not mistreat our hats, however, by leaving them locked in a car on a 90° summer day. But, even in that worst case scenario, the hat shape can be restored by resting it on a coffee can.

- Hat orders generally arrive within 3-7 business days.
- All our hats come with a lifetime warranty. What this means is that even if you bought a hat over 50 years ago and it starts unraveling, we'll fix it or replace it, free of charge.
- However, as far as exchanging one hat style for another, that must be done within 90 days.
- We offer free exchanges for any reason. We'll also send you as many hats as you need until we get you the perfect fit, and we'll even cover all the shipping costs.

The Gorge-Mens leather Cattleman Cowboy Hat is the fourth hat I have purchased from this company. Like each of the other three, this hat is awesome. I have a smaller head but using the included sizing gives me a custom fit. Unfortunately there was a problem with my order, But absolutely not because of American Hat Makers. I was almost stunned at the speed of their response and actions at their end. It isn't often that you find a company that offers outstanding products and customer relations with an affordable price.

I have been holding off buying a full leather hat for a few years until I found one that really caught my eye. The Gorge - Men's Leather Cattleman Cowboy Hat was that one! The fit is perfect. I wear a 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 and the XL fits perfect. I added a thin felt sizer on each side and it fits like I grew up in this hat. The shape and color are EXACTLY what I was wanting. I cannot say enough about how much I like this hat. I have about 40 cowboy hats and this is the one I now wear all the time. Thank you, American Hat Makers for such a wonderful product. Now I am hoping to see a leather hat with a Gus Crown (hint, hint)

Love the quality of the hat, it's beautiful, and very well made. I did have a bit of trouble with sizing but I've come to the conclusion I have a wired head. A medium was too big, but a small was a little too small, so I bought a hat stretcher and I stretched it. Fits great now!
