- For example, wrap a soft measuring tape (also known as a tailor's tape or sewing tape) around your head. Next, start the tape at your mid-forehead, and wrap it around your head above the ears to measure your head size. In addition, find your size on this chart.

Shipping and Returns
- Hat orders generally arrive within 3-7 business days.
- All our hats come with a lifetime warranty. What this means is that even if you bought a hat over 50 years ago and it starts unraveling, we'll fix it or replace it, free of charge. However, as far as exchanging one hat style for another, that must be done within 90 days.
- We offer free exchanges for any reason. We'll also send you as many hats as you need until we get you the perfect fit, and we'll even cover all the shipping costs.

Like the hat but the guy that chose the size wasn’t very sharp, with that said I have to confess (IT WAS ME!)
Would have worked better if it were large but I chose the xl. Thank goodness they have spacers to put in them. This is why I would rather buy from a hat shop where I could try hats to get correct size. Guess I’ll live with it 😂

I’m very pleased with my recent purchase of the Barcelona sun hat. It arrived quickly, packed well. Getting it on sale was also a big plus. This is my 2nd straw hat from American Hat Makers. First hat has a narrower brim for casual wear. This sun hat with a wider brim is for working outside in the sun. Solid and stylish construction is what I expected and exactly what I received.

My recent purchase of the Barcelona Wide Brim fedora is outstanding. My very large head (7 3/4) is a great fit with the XXL sizing. The wide brim is great for protection from the sun's rays.

I find the shape and fit of this hat really good. The ventilation is just what I was looking for. It’s very comfortable to wear working in the garden. The color has some small defects - splotches. But it’s a work hat so that’s not a problem. If I were going to wear it for other purposes, I might have asked for a replacement.
