Take 90-days to make sure your hat is the perfect fit and the perfect style. If for whatever reason you don’t love your hat and want to return it, we make it as easy as possible.
Just pay a small shipping and restocking fee of $9.81 (which will be automatically deducted from your refund amount), send back your hat, and you’re good to go.

Every one of our hats come with a 50 year guarantee. That means that if your hat fails in any way to meet your standards due to our craftsmanship then we’ll repair or replace your hat free of charge. So if your hat starts unraveling in 50 years, we’ll take it back and make it right.

I had been looking for the perfect Safari hat and almost had decided to splurge on an American Hat Maker hat. Then common sense took over-too much money and no way to prove a reference! Then fate-I was at a town celebration and a friend showed up with the best hat I’d ever seen-the Sirocco! Both her and her husband had one and they swore they were the best! I had my own less than 5 days later and it is perfect. It fits just right and I love that there is a way to adjust if needed with the inserts. I wore it in 100 degree weather and it was great. Next stop-trying it in Africa!! Thanks so much.

I own many wide brim leather and Western hats ... I wasn't looking for another ... but American Hat Makers are right down here in Texas, so when FB showed me their ad, I figured I'd do the right friendly Texas thing and look through their site ... very nice hats ... THEN ... I saw this "Unforgiven" model and was STOPPED in my tracks. Quickly I Googled a photo of Clint Eastwood from the movie (hadn't seen it in over 30 years), and sure enough - it has that "Unforgiven" look alright! Well who doesn't want to to look like Clint???? *LOL* Anyway - just got it this week - I must say it now is the HIGHEST QUALITY leather hat I own, with beautiful lining, thick sturdy Bison Leather - and MAN DOES IT LOOK GOOD!
