Take 90-days to make sure your hat is the perfect fit and the perfect style. If for whatever reason you don’t love your hat and want to return it, we make it as easy as possible.
Just pay a small shipping and restocking fee of $9.81 (which will be automatically deducted from your refund amount), send back your hat, and you’re good to go.

Every one of our hats come with a 50 year guarantee. That means that if your hat fails in any way to meet your standards due to our craftsmanship then we’ll repair or replace your hat free of charge. So if your hat starts unraveling in 50 years, we’ll take it back and make it right.

First off, Yes, I did reshape the brim a bit due to an injury to my eye, so that I get better line of sight.... But of all the hats I have, and have had, through the years for working on a farm/ranch, this one is by far my favorite!
I actually purchased two more as gifts for my brothers.
The hat is durable, comfortable and easy to wipe clean! And I DO use it for work during the hot, humid summer here in SC.
My first hat shipped was crushed by the shipper (absolutely no fault of American Hat - UPS very obviously placed a really heavy package on the hat box), but American Hats sent me a new one immediately.
Customer service is amazing - you call or text, and you get a real human! A really NICE, helpful human!
This will definitely not be my last hat from American Hat Company!!

I had been looking for the perfect Safari hat and almost had decided to splurge on an American Hat Maker hat. Then common sense took over-too much money and no way to prove a reference! Then fate-I was at a town celebration and a friend showed up with the best hat I’d ever seen-the Sirocco! Both her and her husband had one and they swore they were the best! I had my own less than 5 days later and it is perfect. It fits just right and I love that there is a way to adjust if needed with the inserts. I wore it in 100 degree weather and it was great.
