How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

Well I must tell you this is number 10 my 10th hat from American hatmakers That's right four of your cowboy hats six top hats Just breathable mesh needs to have another color for us to choose from they really does It's a very nice hat put together well it's nice and light it's cool sometimes it hate can eat that leather up it could be a little uncomfortable but this one here that's not a concern That's why it would be nice to have some extra colors so we can mix and match I got the thing a day or two early It was boxed up perfect like every other hat you send me not a one of them is bent out of shape when it gets to my door not in Indiana they are getting great shape and it goes straight from the box to my head and people compliment these hats no matter what All of them hang on my wall and I can pick and choose each day how to mix and match I'm a fan for life thank you John It's a pleasure crossing your path Great job on this one
