How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

I love this Vector hat so much, I just had to have one. This is the 2nd hat I've purchased from AHM, although I was very disappointed when I learned AHM didn't make the Vector in my size of XXL. But AHM offered me the opportunity to at least try an XL on for size, with the stipulation that I might return it. Out of the box it fit quite snug, but after removing the inner bands front and back and removing the velcro tabs, it fits good enough, that I decided to keep it. Like my Marlow hat which did mold to my head after some sweat & time. I'm confident the Vector hat will do the same. The Vector hat is a fine example of quality and my story is a testament of how far one will go to own one. Although I highly suggest to AHM when making a big hats like the vector or alike, please think about the larger heads in the world. This hat without a doubt should have came in three sizes. L, XL & XXL . Would also like to say if the Vector hat is ever made in XXL I would definitely buy it again. Jack V. a.k.a. pumpkinhead.

Just returned from Daytona Beach Bike Week 2025, first two days my head got sunburnt, I had to cover it while riding, I tried dew rags, but they blew off, sock hats, always pulling down, to keep them on, Bought an AHM hat and was amazed, after 300 miles and many at 70 mph, this hat never moved. it is stylish, looks great and of unmatched quality. Well worth the money. Would highly recommend.

I loved the idea of this hat and I’m an AHM loyalist. When I received it, the square nails were missing. I contacted customer service and they had them in the mail the next day. I’ve purchased several hats and have never had buyer’s remorse. I just wish I could afford some of the dragon hats. Sucks to be poor.
