When one is at the peak of their career, one can expect the rumor mills to start to swing. Jessica, who by the way has no relation to NBC’s Monica Alba, wasn’t spared.
Regarded as a huge sports fan, the actress was known to have dated then New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter. In 2007, it was heavily reported that she may have contracted herpes from the athlete. However, neither an official report nor a statement has been made regarding this.

Jessica was again the subject of rumor mills when celeb pundits speculated that she may have once had breast implants or a “boob job”. Again, neither an official report nor a statement has been made to address this.
Unfounded claims aside, when you’re as influential and stylish as she is, might as well just shrug them off.
Transition to a different career
At 41, the American actress has transitioned into a businesswoman and entrepreneur. As the co-founder of The Honest Company, which sells household goods and body care products, Jessica has been busy with its organic growth.

The Honest Company broke out in 2021, the Jessica Alba-backed business raised more than US$ 400 million for its initial public offering. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actress turned businesswoman is worth US$100 million.
