How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

This is an awesome hat, love the feel of it I could wear all day every day might not look as good on me at someone else, but I love this hat better than the first hat that I purchased I will it sometime been getting another hat, but this is awesome for people who like a light weight hat!!

This hat was exactly what I was looking for. When it arrived, I quickly tried it on and made a small adjustment to the internal hat band. Amazing fit, especially since I had never tried this brand. Just follow the instructions in the hat sizing video. The hat appears to be well made and sturdy. As the weather gets warmer, I plan on wearing this hat daily!

The quality of this hat is great! I like that it is packable. I got the small size which is a little big on me, but AHM included 3 foam inserts to remedy this problem and the size is now perfect . I got three different kinds of hats from AHM all in the size small but the sizing is not consistent on all hats. I like the material they used on the head band inside the Barcelona hat best. It is a stretchy fabric like a wide garter that adapts to your head size. Overall, i am happy with this hat and i got it on sale June 2022. I will be a returning customer!

I have lots of hair and a big head; although I love wearing hats, they are hard to find. Initially I purchased 2 hats to try out sizes. The cap is well made and it looks great. I couldn’t get a hat band to fit so I went to HOBBY LOBBY and bought a great looking cameo for the front. Dressed it up.

I have purchased one hat before which was made in America. When I bought this hat for a trip to Italy, and didn’t realize until I was there that the hat was made in China. I couldn’t believe American Hat Makers would sell a hat made in China. Very disappointed.
