How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

I have been putting the crusher through the wringer. I use it for peak bagging in Zion National Park. I roll it up in my backpack and pull it out when needed. The hat takes a minute to regain its shape but always has. I have had the hat about 8 months now and love it. I hope it continues to perform. I am super glad to know that if I have an issue I paid the $10 to fix it and that AHM is good to its customers. Hat fit was a tad small but has stretch to a perfect fit now.

I saw one in Gatlinburg TN and loved it but couldn't get it so my wife ordered it for me for our anniversary. I love the flexible feel of the leather. I've had similar hats from different brands that were just heavy and stiff and I didn't enjoy wearing them. The crusher is super comfy and I look forward to putting it on everytime. Long time hat guy who has found his favorite hat!
