How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

This hat was the unexpected MVP of my Colorado trip. It’s too warm to wear comfortably in anything over 80°, but when we got hit with a surprise snowstorm, it was absolutely perfect. It stood up to the snow and rain without missing a beat, kept me warm, and held its shape the whole time.
On top of that, nearly everyone who saw me wearing it paid me a compliment on how nice it looked. The wool felt and leather band give it a really sharp, classic look that turns heads.

I like this hat. It fits great. But I had expected what I would consider better quality. It seems cheaper made than I expected. The color seems odd, definitely not khaki, or brown. Reminds me of a silver Labrador, not brown or silver. The leather hat band looks cheap to me. I have 4 Scala wool, crushable hats that cost less, but feel like better quality to me. That being said, I will be wearing this hat a lot. Just trying to honestly rate it.
