How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

This actually a pretty decent fedora for the price. It's a little smaller than I expected, but that's okay. Still works good for the collection. The fit is true to size, very comfortable. I purchase a feather to go with it. Not sure whether I'll use it all the time, but wanted the option. In the future I may purchase the "Broadway" fedora for something a little larger. But overall, very pleased.

This hat fit like it was something I’ve had forever. If it’s my persona and I really enjoy wearing it actually. This and other ones from American Hat but this one is felt so it’s a little warmer and I have others that are leather like the Balboa. Depends on the mood I’m in, but I like that this is Brown and I do believe it’s crushable but don’t expect to do so. Can wear it casually and when I wanna be out and about in some of the local venues, I attend. It definitely has style.
Puts a little bounce in my step as I walk in and check out the scene, if you know what I mean..
