How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

As soon as I opened the box, I knew I got the RIGHT hat! I love it, and I get complimented every time I wear it. I have a Sierra, too, but I find my self wearing the Pinto more often Y'all NAILED it with this design. I was checking in for a medical appointment this week, and one of the young ladies at the front desk looked up, saw the hat, and said "OMG<, Love that hat! Where di you get it?" I told her " American Hat Makers," gave her the address, and she said have to go check it out. I hope she visited and found something she liked!

Inside the front rim of this hat there are three round Velcro attachment buttons. Because they are the rough plastic hook side of Velcro, when wearing the hat without a size reduction product, the rough Velcro constantly scrapes one's skin. AHM should use the soft fabric side of Velcro so when size reducers are not required, the skin scraping will not occur. The size reducers would be best made with the rough plastic hook side to attach to the soft fabric round Velcro attachment buttons.

Extremely nice and comfortable Hat Very clean and it fits the look I was going for it's not a John Marston hat but it's shaped and styled very similarly in my opinion it's a cross between John Marston and Ronnie Van Zant (from the O.G. Lynyrd Skynyrd) 3 words This Hat Rocks, the hair is also a mice touch because that way I feel as if I'm not trying to complain as John Marston from RdR because it's similar enough to resemble his Hat but different enough to not be just copying him
