How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

I hike the desert mountains in Phoenix regularly. My Soaker helps keep me cool. Protects me from sun while still allowing air to flow through and cool my noggin. Dip the entire hat in a tub of water or pour water onto the absorbent front headband and top liner. It’s also stylish!

I bought this hat for an upcoming cruise. It’s perfectly contoured and it fit exactly the way that I thought it would, right out of the box. Many hats tend to sit on my ears and fold them slightly, not this one! Gonna give it a good wearing and see how well it holds up. I wear a size 8 fitted hat, so a proper fit is hard to find. I love this “Soaker” hat. Soakable, crushable, best fit ever due to its interchangeable hat sizing variety of sweat bands that come with it. I ordered up a size and sized it down to fit perfectly with the sweatband as recommended. Good advice.
It has gone through two seasons of gardening and summer fishing adventures and stil looks good for family trips.
If it can keep up with me and all my adventures as well as my gardening work, it will work hard for anyone.

My Crusher is too hot in the summer and my Seagrass and Gambler straw hats delicate for summer action.
A little cold water in the top and I've an cool with my own breathable evaporative cooler.
It looks stylish yet functions in the heat.

I bought this hat for a European vacation. The first thing is I have a big head and used to hats being tight. This is true to size. I we t a size up but had the sizers included. If I had more time I would have returned it for the proper size but with the insert it fit good. I have bought other hats that have stretched and was able to use a sizer to make it fit. Hopefully, that won’t happen to this one. So far I’m very happy with the purchase.
