How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

Like the hat just fine. I wish that I would’ve just ordered my regular size but the adjusters work fine. After a little shaping to my liking I think it’ll be just right. Quality seems to be fine, the checkering in the crown and hat band are really nice. I could’ve bought a Bailey locally for around 40 bucks less but it just didn’t have the same quality feel as this hat. The chin is a plus also if you need it. Overall I’m well satisfied with my hat. The hat is just as it appears with more of a cowboy then city cut. The quality is top notch. I ordered a size larger but one of the included hat sizers brought it well down to my size. One note is that the distance to the crown fold is a bit small. The crown touches the top of my head when pulled down. I’d prefer a bit more room but your cabeza may vary. The included hat band and the draw string are nice touches. It looks great and gathered some positive comments. It is a larger brim and it will be interesting to see if stays on in the wind. I looked at some lighter imported hats in Santa Fe shops that were 3 X the price. This hat is a bargain and American made. I’d say overall I am pleased with the hat.

I love the hat, but it had a "Made in Mexico" sticker in it. Not a big deal, but I was a little disappointed it wasn't American-made like the company name.

Marvelous hat. I own 21 wide brim style hat. Was not sure of this hat, did not know the manufacturer. Really don't like to buy a hat without first laying hands on. Was looking for a good summer hat. The fit of the XL was perfect, and I am confident it will meet my needs when traveling to Gulf Shores, AL next month.
One complaint: The esthetic of the Chin Strap is basic at best. It does what it's supposed to do. Nothing more. The quality of the Chin Strap could use more styling, and then you'd have a nice accompaniment to the hat.
