How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

I love this cap!! It came earlier than expected, which is awesome, and I have worn it pretty much everywhere I go! I can adjust how tight or loose I want it (which is very helpful with my hair). This is my 1st purchase from American Hat Makers and I’m very pleased with the product, both quality and looks. I would recommend this cap to anyone looking for a flat cap. This particular cap is geared toward winter wear as it is lined and padded.
Other info for AHM - your line of caps is very limited and recommend you look into expanding your line to include other styles of flat caps to include summer, winter and all weather wear. You might take a look at Boston Scalley web site.

I purchased this Argo cap for my wife. The first one I received was a little big. AHMs exchanged it with NO problems. When the new hat came it fit like it was made for her.
