How to Measure Your Head
- Grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (like twine or a shoelace) and a ruler or measuring tool
- Wrap a soft tape or string around your head to measure about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above your ear and about 3/4 to an 1" inch above your brow line (see image)
- Mark the tape or your string, where it intersects, with your finger.
- Record your measurement in inches or centimeters (centimeters is often more accurate)
- If you're using a string, run it along side the ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
- MEASURE AGAIN!
- Always measure more than once until you get the same number twice
- Find your size in the chart for the perfect fit

This amazing hat was purchase in late fall as we approached the winter months in Chicago, Illinois. The wider brim was perfect for those days that it started to transition from rain to snow. The wool hat kept me warm and dry and best off all kept my glasses from getting wet from the outside conditions. It has a perfect sizing system hidden inside the inside band to secure firmly or loosen for a relaxed fit. I did add the adhesive comfort band and it fit like a perfectly tailored hat. I think a Velcro-band will be better in future upgrades to the hat design as with time the adhesive band may need to be replaced more often. I ordered two additional colors of olive and brown because of the high level of comfort and style the hat offers. Very satisfied and would recommend to anyone that wants a high quality wool hat at an affordable price.

My dermatologist has told me that I need to wear a wide brim hat. So I'm have been replacing my hats with wide brim hats. This is the 3rd one that I've gotten from AHM. I've had this hat for several weeks now and have worn it a bunch. I have gotten compliments on this hat. It fits and wears really well. It is a nice looking hat with the wide brim that the doctor ordered. I really like this hat.
