  • When using a hat band that fastens with a buckle, what is the appropriate length of excess band after the buckle is secured?

I’m trying to figure out if my hat band is too long or if it is ok. I have the buckle fastened on the second to last hole w/the excess band sticking out about 3.5" from the belt loop.

  • Is American Hat Makers capable of making a hat band consisting of small metal pentagrams around the circumference of the hat. I have the Ringleader Straw in small from your company. I’m pagan, I want to display my pentagrams and a hat band is the perfect place to do so.
Let me know if you’re capable or willing to make this happen, also what price point I’ll be looking at.
    Thanks,
    Christine
